In the recent years, HBO’s television series Westworld has become one of the most popular topics on social media. Set in a futuristic Western world, the series imagines a future where androids (AI robots) are commonplace.
In the show, there are five large theme parks, each representing a region of the Western world. The most important regions are: Mid-Western USA, the Wild West, and the Far West. These regions are home to the popular attractions—such as the gunfighter arena and the dinosaur park—that attract tourists and create jobs. But the most dangerous and unpredictable criminal organization in the show’s world is the Cartel, which rules the most remote region of the Arctic Circle. In the series, this is known as the Zone.
