How to Finish the Mission in Fable 3

It’s been a while since we last heard from Max. We assumed he was busy taking care of his newly found farm. Little did we know that he would be needing our help more than ever before! It all started when Max’s old lady passed away and left him with a kid named Theo. We asked Max if he could spare some time to talk about his adventure so far and what’s next for him. Here’s what happened:

Up Close and Personal With Max

I guess we should have seen this coming. After all, Max was never one to mince his words. Regardless, it’s always good to get a peek into the minds of some of our favorite characters. Here’s a little bit about Max:

A farmer by trade, Max spent most of his life living the simple life on his farm. After his wife passed away, he was forced to take care of his little boy Theo on his own. Despite the occasional cold shoulder from Theo’s schoolmates, Max managed to keep his farm and continue providing for his family. Naturally, it wasn’t an easy task. Sometimes, Max would have to borrow some of our hard-earned money to keep his farm afloat. Even so, he always managed to pay us back with interest. We were glad to help out a fellow farmer. Besides, it was the right thing to do. Over the years, Max has opened up to us and let us in on the inner workings of his often complicated mind. While he may not always like what we have to say, he always respects our opinions.

Theo’s Got Issues

Theo is Max’s young son. We initially assumed that he would be attending school with the other kids in the village. However, that didn’t seem to be the case. Theo spent most of his time farming with his father and rarely went to school. We asked Theo if he could spare some time to talk about his education. Here’s what he had to say:

“I suppose there’s only so much a father can teach his son about life,” Max said. “Theo is a quick learner, but he has his quirks. He can be a bit of a temperamental kid at times.”

There’s no doubt that Theo has issues. Over the years, he has lashed out at those around him, especially when they question his methods or his father’s judgment. He’s never been at peace with himself. As a result, he’s kept mostly to himself. That’s not to say that he doesn’t get along with others. He just has a hard time letting his guard down and allowing people to get close to him.

Theo’s attitude towards education stemmed from his mother. She wanted her children to have a better life than she did and felt that an education was the best way to achieve this. Unfortunately, we didn’t get the opportunity to meet Mrs. Winch. Still, it’s clear that despite her flaws, she was a good woman. She simply fell victim to the system that was set up to marginalize and oppress women. Nowadays, we are aware of the issues that women face in the country. Still, it wasn’t easy for Mrs. Winch to escape her unhappy marriage. She worked hard to provide for her son and protect him from a similar fate. However, it appears that her efforts were in vain as she eventually died of starvation. This was a severe blow to the young boy who was already struggling with his father’s isolationism. Now that he’s a man of responsibility, Max is determined to raise his son to be a better person.

We asked Max if he had any advice for parents on how to best nurture and strengthen their children. Here’s what he had to say:

“To be honest, I don’t think that there’s any clear-cut answer to that question. Every parent is different and will approach raising their children a little differently. Some will be more involved than others, depending on their nature. As a general rule of thumb, however, I would say have open communication with your kids. It might not always be easy, but it’ll be worth it in the end.”

While it’s not always easy, being a parent is a rewarding experience. You’ll learn to love and nurture your children like you never thought possible. Still, it’s a burden that’s not light. You’ll feel guilty about not being able to do everything for your kids. At the same time, you’ll also feel glad that you finally got the opportunity to be there for them.

Being a good parent means being there for your kids. It means being engaged with them, learning with them, playing with them, and providing for them. Sure, you might have other priorities in life, but they’ll still need your attention and care. It also means holding their hand through life’s difficult times and celebrating its joyous moments. Never, ever feel guilty about what you can’t give your kids. Instead, be proud that you’re able to give them the essentials. Still, being a parent is a hard job and not for the faint of heart. You’ll have to balance your own needs with those of your children. This is something that will challenge and change you as a person. However, in the end, it’s all worth it. You’ll look back and know that you did everything you could for them.

The Farm That Wasn’t

While we helped out a fellow farmer, it didn’t end there. Our mission was to help clear Max’s name and bring him justice. We were determined to see that his farm was cleaned out and that he was compensated for all that he lost due to the wrongdoing of others. Naturally, this proved to be more difficult than we thought. We realized that our initial plan would require a bit of an adjustment. Still, we were confident that we could carry out our task. After all, we are friends of Max’s and always stand by our fellow farmers.

To our dismay, the plan didn’t quite go as we expected. The system was heavily biased against Max and he was rarely, if ever, given the opportunity to prove his innocence. To make matters worse, the higher-ups in the legal system were more concerned about protecting the status quo than they were about righting a wrong. Naturally, this is a system that was set up to fail and it did. It seems that the only people who benefited from all this were the judges and lawyers who enriched themselves at the expense of the poor farmer.

Despite all this, Max was a determined man. He was convinced that he was innocent and refused to give up. Still, those who knew him best were beginning to wonder if he would ever be able to put the farm back together again. The years had taken their toll. He wasn’t the same man who had started out on this journey. The system had broken him.

A Change Of Heart

Weeks passed and still no news came from the village. We had hoped that by this point, the authorities would have given up on finding the culprit and cleared Max’s name. Naturally, this wasn’t the case and we began to wonder if we were doing the right thing by staying in this village. Maybe it was time for us to leave. However, during one of our walks, we stumbled across a familiar face. It was none other than Mr. Spooner, the teacher from the village. He was sitting in the middle of the road, taking a break from teaching and enjoying some sun. We decided to approach him and ask if he was free for lunch. He gladly accepted and we proceeded to walk with him to his house. During our walk, he told us about his encounter with Max. As it turns out, he is one of Max’s closest friends and was beside himself that he hadn’t heard from Max in such a long time. We told him that we had been traveling and had happened upon his village during our travels. He was curious as to where we had been and what we had been doing. He had often heard rumors about our mission and was looking forward to hearing more about it. This is when we told him about our encounter with Judge Thatcher, the man who had sentenced Max. Still, Spooner wasn’t aware of the judge’s secret agenda. He thought Judge Thatcher was just a regular, old-school jerk who didn’t know how to behave. Needless to say, we had to leave out the part about the judge’s secret agenda. This is one friend who didn’t know that we were holding a secret. We don’t intend to tell him, but it’ll be hard to keep our findings a secret from someone who is as nosy as Mr. Spooner.
