Having a successful betting website is great, but then comes the tricky part: How to market it?
You’ve launched your amazing website with all the relevant information, enticing stories, and user-friendly design. Now you need to get the word out there. How to do you do that?
If you’re looking for an answer, you’re in the right place. Here, we’ll teach you everything you need to know about marketing a betting website on Facebook.
Step one: Set up a Facebook page for your website
As we’ve established, having a successful betting website is great, but then comes the tricky part: How to market it?
You’re going to need a Facebook page to do this. But don’t worry, setting up a Facebook page isn’t as complicated as it seems. Essentially, all you need to do is create a Facebook page for your website. In order to do this, you need to make sure that your website is set up correctly with a dedicated domain name and that you have your site hosted somewhere (we’ll get to the details in a bit).
Once you have your website, you can head over to Facebook and click on the “Create a Page” button at the top of the screen.
This will take you to a screen where you can enter a brief description for your Facebook page. Give it a cool name that will make sense to people who know nothing about your website (but will look cool on your Facebook page!).
For the purposes of this tutorial, we’ll call our Facebook page “TheMosaic”.
Step two: Link your website to your Facebook page
Now that your Facebook page has been created, it’s time to link it to your website. To do this, navigate to your WordPress dashboard and click on the “Linked Pages” option in the left-hand column. You can then click on the “Add New Link” button to add a linked page.
If you already have a Facebook page for your website, you can enter the name of your website in the “Site name” field and enter the URL of your website in the “URL” field.
If you don’t have a Facebook page yet, you can click on the “Get Facebook Page” button to get started.
Once you’ve done this, you can click on the “Save Changes” button at the top of the page to finalize things.
Step three: Post on your Facebook page
Finally, it’s time to populate your Facebook page with some content. To do this, click on the “Posts” button at the top of your Facebook page to enter the dashboard. From here, you can click on the “Post” button at the top of the screen to get started.
You can add images and videos to your posts, use checkboxes to let your audience choose multiple options, and choose a category to organize your content into (in this case, let’s say, “Life & Style”).
From a design standpoint, you can use the dashboard to test out different types of banners and posts (both welcome and paid), and see what resonates with your audience the most.
To keep things simple, let’s choose a subject that we’re pretty sure most of our readers will understand, relate to, and hopefully, engage with: fashion. So, let’s start by sharing some exciting news about a fashion-related topic that we think you’ll be interested in.
To do this, click on the “Posting” tab at the top of the screen, then choose a post form from the drop-down menu. Next, click on the “Choose a Photo” button and choose an image from your computer’s hard drive (you don’t need to have a photo ready, you can choose one from the internet if you don’t have any on hand).
Once you’ve done this, you can click on the “Preview” button to see how your post looks. If you like what you see, click on the “Post” button to publish it to your Facebook page.
If you decide that you don’t want to post about fashion, you can always come back and choose a different topic. But, for now, let’s move on to the more fun parts: The stats and analytics!
Step four: Check out your Facebook page’s stats
The last step in the process is to check out your Facebook page’s stats. To do this, navigate to your WordPress dashboard again and click on the “View Stats” option in the left-hand column. This will bring you to a screen showing you all the stats about your Facebook page. Here’s where you can see how many people are engaging with your content, the demographics, and the most relevant metrics to determine how successful your page is (e.g., likes, comments, shares, and click-throughs).
The good news is that all this data is available to you in a clear and easy-to-understand format. The bad news is that it’s not easy to find the information you need to know when you want it. So, if you’re looking for answers, you’re going to have to dig a bit. But don’t worry, this is all easily searchable. Simply type in the name of your Facebook page (e.g., “TheMosaic” or “theblog”) and hit enter. This will bring up all the content on your Facebook page (including your posts, comments, and replies).
From here, you can use the search bar to search all of your content, comments, and replies for the keywords you’re after. This is a great place to look for inspiration if you find yourself stuck for ideas on how to market your website.
Let’s say, for example, that you’re a fashion designer who wants to promote your clothing line on your Facebook page. In this case, you can search for “fashion designer” and get a list of all the comments, posts, and articles related to fashion designers. You can then browse through these resources, find the ones that seem most relevant to your line, and use these as inspiration for a new campaign.

Step five: Use Facebook’s analytics tool to track activity
Once you’ve linked your website to your Facebook page, it’s time to use Facebook’s analytical tools to see what’s working and what isn’t. To do this, navigate to your WordPress dashboard again and click on the “View Stats” option in the left-hand column. This will bring you to a screen showing you all the stats about your Facebook page.
