You wake up, excited about your big plans for the day. Maybe you’re meeting friends for lunch, you’re going for a summery walk, or you’ve got a big day ahead at work. You’ve got your hair done and you head to your wardrobe. Suddenly, you feel overwhelmed. While the walk to work might have been lovely, the shower didn’t feel as good as you remembered. You could use some of the clothes you had planned for today, but you also feel like you need a new outfit. Your hair is smelling wonderful as you decide to leave the bathroom, but as you walk out, your hair starts to lose its shine. Your nails are dirty and you decide to give them a quick polish. As you walk out of your office building, you feel great! Your clothes are perfect and you feel confident and gorgeous. What is going on?
You’ve probably heard about histamines before. If you haven’t, histamines are proteins that the body produces when it is exposed to allergens. These allergens can be anything from food to water to insects. When the body is exposed to an allergen, it will produce histamines in an attempt to defend itself.
If you’re anything like me, the number of times you’ve found yourself in this situation is likely to be quite high. So much so, that when I heard about Beat Histamines, I was in two minds about testing it. On the one hand, I’ve never heard of a product that could help me combat my histamines. On the other, I’m always looking for ways to improve my fitness and wellness. So, I decided to give it a go. Let’s find out more about this intriguing product.
What Is Beat Histamines?
Beat histamines is a product that promises to reduce the amount of histamines in the body. To my surprise, it turned out to be the exact opposite. Instead of lowering my body’s histamine levels, I found that Beat histamines increased them. However, and this is a big but, I’m not complaining because as strange as it sounds, I feel like it did me some good.
If you take a bit of science lesson first, histamines were first identified in the 1950s. Since then, studies have shown that high levels of histamines in the body can contribute to a variety of health problems. For instance, it has been found to be linked to asthma, hives, and skin rashes.
The link between histamines and these conditions makes sense. After all, the body’s histamine levels will increase when it is exposed to an allergen. Interestingly, though, it’s not just the body’s attempts at self-defense that lead to the production of histamines. The environment also plays a role. If you’re reading this blog post on an iPad or Mac, you’ll know that I use Apple’s Final Cut Pro X to create my videos and podcasts. If you watch my videos or listen to my podcasts regularly, you’ll know that I often cut outside in order to create the desired effect. This means that the devices I use put out a great deal of dust and pollen that eventually makes its way into the air. When this happens, my body has no choice but to produce more histamines in an effort to combat all that dirt and pollution.
How Does It Work?
Since I mentioned that I used Beat histamines on the same day that I noticed an increase in my histamines, let’s take a look at how exactly it works.
When you apply it to your fingertips or inside your ears, the product contains amino acids. The amino acids are able to attractively intermingle with water molecules, resulting in an extremely smooth and pleasant application. Once hydrated, the amino acids are able to permeate your skin and travel to your largest organ, your gut. From there, they’re able to enter your bloodstream and eventually your brain. Once inside your brain, the amino acids are able to suppress your appetite. In other words, you’ll feel pretty darned smart if you use this product daily. So, it’s not just about applying it to your skin. It’s about applying it throughout the day so that your body can start taking advantage of it.
What Are The Risks?
While there are no proven risks associated with Beat histamines, there are some risks that you need to be aware of. One of the biggest risks is that if you use this product daily, it will most likely prevent your skin from producing its own histamines. So, if you do happen to be allergic to certain foods or insects, you could end up experiencing an adverse reaction. Another risk is that if you use this product frequently, it could also affect the way your body metabolizes certain drugs. So, if you’re taking medication, you should speak with your doctor before you try anything new.
Fortunately, the risks associated with Beat histamines appear to be relatively minor. For instance, if you’re allergic to certain foods or insects, you can simply reduce your exposure to these allergens. If you’re taking medication, you should consult with your doctor before you start using this product. Nevertheless, these are all legitimate concerns and you should be wary of them. Thankfully, the benefits that I experienced outweighed the risks and I’m sure that you’ll be able to do the same.
In the end, you need to decide for yourself whether or not this product is right for you. While I wasn’t able to find a direct link between using this product and lowering my body’s histamine levels, I did notice that it did increase them slightly. So, while I can’t say for sure that it helped rid my body of histamines, I did experience some benefits from using it.
If you do decide to try it, be sure to follow the instructions that came with the product. Some people have found that applying it to the inside of their ears could help reduce the amount of histamines in their bodies. Others have found that using it on their fingernails could increase their self-confidence and help them get over social anxiety. So, it’s worth a try. Just remember to follow the instructions that came with the product and if you feel like your body’s histamines are adversely affecting your health, let your doctor know. He might be able to adjust your medication or let you try a new one.
