Many of you have probably heard about Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CSGO). If you haven’t then you should know that it’s one of the most popular first-person shooter games available on the market today. It’s been around for almost a decade now and has maintained a steady player base since its release. The game itself is incredibly fun to play, there’s a huge amount of variety in the levels and game modes, and it’s incredibly easy to pick up and play. If you’re looking for a new game to sink your teeth into then you should definitely check out CSGO!
The Basics
To begin with, you should know that CSGO is a game that was developed by Counter-Strike developers, Hidden Path Entertainment, and published by Valve Corporation. It is set in the future of 2025 after the introduction of biometric sensors that allow for secure and quick gameplay, as well as providing the players with an accurate portrayal of their physical movements. For security reasons all players must use these sensors which sync data with the cloud ensuring that each and every move is tracked and recorded. This being said, these sensors also make it easier for the developers to observe and address gameplay issues which arise. The game mode is split into two separate varieties: Search and Rescue, and Demolition.
Search And Rescue (Search & Recovery)
This game mode is pretty self-explanatory; your team has to search for players that have been ‘out-of-position’ or ‘out-of-sync’ with their teammates while also trying to avoid being detected and destroyed by the enemy team. In order to succeed in this game mode you need to utilize your teammates effectively, communicate with the rest of the team, and work together as a unit to find the best search and rescue routes while also staying ahead of the other team. It’s a lot of pressure but by working together as a team you can achieve victory. This game mode is pretty easy to learn but difficult to master.
Demolition (Demolition Man)
Demolition is pretty self-explanatory as well. Your teams has to locate and destroy the opposing teams’ vulnerable structures while also protecting your own. In this game mode your team is on the offensive, trying to destroy the opposing teams’ defenses and keep their buildings in a precarious state. For this reason you’ll often find yourself with engineers that specialize in cracking open walls and buildings (demolition engineers if you will). As in the previous game mode, in order to succeed in this game mode you need to utilize your teammates effectively, communicate with the rest of the team, and work together as a unit to find the best route to the enemy defense and then proceed to annihilate it. However, you should be mindful not to overuse (or abuse) the use of these specialized engineers as they can be quite useful but also extremely dangerous if used incorrectly. This game mode is a lot like real-life construction, you’re trying to complete various tasks as quickly and efficiently as possible while keeping everything organized and on-time. Even small mistakes can have massive repercussions and cause you to lose valuable time. It’s a lot of pressure but by following the right instructions you can achieve victory.
How To Place A Bet On CSGO
CSGO is an online game but it maintains a large playerbase thanks to the fact that it’s widely available on PC and Mac via Steam. This being said, there is also an App Store version available for download on iOS devices. In order to place a CSGO bet you’ll need to have an Apple or Google account, you’ll also need to be signed into the App Store or Google Play (respectively) on your device, and you’ll need to have Internet access. When you’re ready to place your bet simply follow these steps:

Now you’ve got all the basics out of the way it’s time to move onto the fun stuff; how to make the most out of your newfound knowledge. You’ve probably heard about the huge variety of in-game items that can be found and used in CSGO. If you haven’t then let me give you a quick run-down of what you can expect to find in-game:
Weapons
For a long time the only in-game weapon you could use was the standard issue Glock 19 with its default 15 round magazine. However, since the game’s update in January of 2021 more weapons have been added including the M21 Savage, Sawed-Off, AUG, and many more. These are not your ordinary weapons by any means; they are all quite unique and useful in their own right. If you feel like you need a weapon then you should definitely check out all of the different options that are available in-game, all of which have their perks and quirks. This being said, these weapons can be modified with the use of certain equipment allowing for further increases in firepower. It’s quite an exciting time to be a CSGO player!
Armor
Unlike most other first-person shooter games, rather than simply offering you a piece of gear that will help you in battle, CSGO allows for the ingame purchase and customization of armor. This armor can be split into three categories: Helmet, Pants, and Jacket. The helmet protects your head, the pants protect your lower body, and the jacket protects your upper body. Each piece of armor has its perks and quirks which you should be aware of when choosing which one to wear. Just like with the weapons, this is also a good place to find a wide variety of gear that you can use to further enhance your gameplay.
EQT (Equipment)
Another area where you can spend your money in-game is on the various pieces of “equipment” that are available. As mentioned above, many of these are quite unique and can be quite useful in certain situations. There are also a lot of gimmicks in this section of the game including:
- Flashbombs (detonates all teammates in a single area for a short period of time)
- Sentry Gun (silences all nearby enemies for a brief moment)
- Deagle (great for long-range shots)
- Sticky Bomb (places a bomb on the ground that detonates after a brief delay)
- Ballistiq (increases the rate of fire of your rifle)
- Trickster Mask (makes you nearly invisible to the naked eye)
- Scoped Glasses (allows you to see clearly without any obstructions such as dust or fog)
- Night Vision Goggles (enables you to see in low-light conditions)
- Deep Sea Fishing Gear (allows you to fish at night or in murky water)
- Luminous Helmets (gives you night vision goggles as well as the ability to see clearly in low light conditions)
Once again, with all these different options and accessories it can be quite hard to know where to start. If you want to find a good guide to help you choose wisely then be sure to check out all of the different types of gear available in the game, as well as the tips for each item. With all this information at your fingertips it will be easy to find exactly what you need and how it can be used to your advantage.
