The novel was turned into a movie in 1934 and starred Bette Davis as Pinkerton.

I’m proud to be a partner with the NFL in this effort, and I encourage all of our clubs to make a similar commitment.”
The NFL Charities are a group that is committed to assisting victims of COVID-19. Their goal is to raise awareness about the disease, especially amongst young people. The organization distributes food, medical supplies, and monetary donations to local hospitals and healthcare workers. The money that the NFL donates will go towards paying for more ventilators, masks, and other medical equipment for healthcare workers on the front lines of the pandemic. As an organization, the NFL Charities have already raised over $200,000 and are hoping to hit their goal of $500,000 in funds raised during the next two months.
